REST IN PEACE RICHARD SALA
Richard Sala, cartoonist best known for his surreal horror and mystery comics has passed away aged sixty one.
No details have been released - and there's no reason why they should be, but his passing has been confirmed by his publisher, Fantagraphics books. You may be unfamiliar with his work, so here's a sample:

SDCC is cancelled this year, because of course it is. Except it isn't, because following in the shoes of SciFi Scarborough and other cons, the San-Diego Comicon is going online! No details yet (except that creator of Bleeding Cool and friend of the shop Rich Johnston will be on a panel) but we'll let you know when we hear stuff.
