DON'T FORGET - WE ARE
OPEN TODAY!
1pm -5.30pm

At 2pm, on Tuesday 17th of March 2020 we closed up our shelves, stowed our comics boxes and walked out of the Everyman. The shop has been closed ever since.
We spent lockdown trying to keep people supplied, delivering by hand and posting out comics. For a long time we had no new comics to sell, and that was hard, but so many of our loyal customers stepped up and supported us - for which we will be forever grateful - we managed to stay afloat. Just.
This afternoon, finally, we will begin limited re-opening. It's going to be very good to be back.
BATMAN WILL NOT REBOOT AFTER #100
DC had planned to re-start Batman from #1 after #100 of the current run. Now they've decided to let the numbering and the creative team run on - so for the first time since the forties, we're getting a Batman #101. Now, if other companies could take note...
THE BATMAN WILL BE OUTSIDE THE DCEU
It is reported that The Batman will not be part of the DC Extended Universe, but its own exclusive thing. It's also getting a TV spin-off on HBO.
I don't have an opinion about this, to be honest. I just hope the film is good.
WILL THEY RELEASE THE SCHUMACHER CUT?
DC are releasing the Snyder Cut of Justice League via HBO. Now it's rumoured that a cut of Batman Forever that the late Joel Schumacher preferred to the cinematic release exists. Naturally there is interest from some quarters in seeing it.
All I can say is it would be impossible to make that movie worse, so what harm could it do?
THIS IS THE LAST DAILY WAFFLE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND ATTENTION
This is the last Daily Waffle. We'll be going weekly, with the return of the Wednesday Waffle from now on.
One hundered and eleven episodes, a lot of terrible TV recommended, a lot of nonsense talked. Thank you to everyone who watched, everyone who read it, and everyone who has supported us. We're not out of the woods, the future remains uncertain. But we'll see you out there...

This is clearly a far from exhausting list - and it's writer heavy because I tend to follow writers not artists. We'll be adding to it.
Go follow them, and find more women to follow, and listen. You don't have to agree, but it's high time that we listened to what women have to say.
GRAPHIC NOVELS ON DEMAND SERVICE NOW ACTIVE
For various logistical reasons we don't list our range of graphic novels and trade paperbacks online. However, we are now able to offer an ordering service - just tell us what you want, either by e-mail, through our social media or using the form on our website (click HERE to go to the appropriate page), we'll send you an invoice and have your book (or books) shipped directly to your door. We can even have them gift-wrapped if you're sending them to somebody else. (Or if you just like unwrapping things...)
