Geeking with Destination Venus Episode #46: Moon trips, Moon Knights and mucking about in Space!

Welcome to the show notes for the 46th Episode of Geeking with Destination Venus. If you're reading this it means that we managed to stop the internet eating our homework for the first time in a couple of weeks. Our fingers are well and truly crossed...

We started with the return of N.A.S.A. Astronaut Mark Vande Hei from the I.S.S. aboard a Russian Soyuz capsule. Regie was pleased by this symbol of space cooperation rising above Earth bound politics. Read more HERE.

Regie also mentioned the Cosmonauts who flew to the I.S.S. a couple of weeks ago wearing what appeared to be Ukraine's colours. Since those show notes got lost, here's the image again:

And of course this shows that Astronauts and Cosmonauts do appear to have opinions.

We then got into the "Wet Dress Rehersal" for the launch of Artemis 1. Regie is quite excited. Read more HERE.

Then there's the news that SpaceX and Northrop Grumman are going to work together to service the I.S.S. up to 2026. Read more HERE.

And staying with Space X, Elon Musk is downplaying potential threats to his Starlink stallites. More HERE.

Then there's the "Potentially hazardous" asteroid making its closest ever Earth flyby - how's that space programme going again? More HERE.

Then we had some good engineering news as clean and renewable sources meet 38% of global energy demands. More HERE.

Then there's the "flying V" set to revolutionise aviation. (Spoilers: Probably not...) More HERE.

In geeky entertainment news there's the announcement of Bruce Willie's retirement due to aphasia. More HERE and HERE. The best wishes of everyone involved in Geeking go out to Mr Willis and his family.

There was then a sort of non-spoilery review of Moon Knight Episode 1, and the cool revelation that there's a way to use the show to download a free digital copy of Warewolf by Night #32 from 1975, which featured the first ever appearance of Moon Knight! More HERE.

Morbius. 'Nuff said.

Then the bit where Shang-Chi becomes Shang Chi and the ten rings. Bit late? Regie thinks so. More HERE.

There was some comics recommendation stuff, namely:
